WORDS FROM THE FOUNDER, MADAME JUDY CHARUDATTAN...

"Having directed the elementary program of "Le Congrès de la Culture Française en Floride" from 1992 for 16 years in Orlando, I was delighted to accept the honor and privilage bestowed upon me by the American Association of Teachers of French, to organize and conduct the inaugural CCFF 2008 K-8 Program in our University town of Gainesville.

"Growing up multilingual, my passion for French began as a young child when I visited Pondicherry, a French colony in India. After graduating from Andhra University with French language and literature, I pursued my studies further in a post graduate Diplome course in Alliance Française, before settling in the USA. Being aware that the brains of pre-school and young children under the age of 10, encode languages in hard wired neuronal circuits, which enable them to learn languages with ease and speed, I embarked on a mission of foreign language education for children in Gainesville in 1988, with Fun and Food as an integral part of the technique".

"Le Congrès enhances education in a unique way. It sets a yearly goal of performance with a healthy competitive team spirit and cooperation. It motivates children to persevere their language study uninterrupted year after year. A sense of accomplishment and improvement of their self-esteem and confidence in speaking skills is achieved in an enjoyable manner".
